London Energy Efficiency Ltd., based at the University of East London, is an independent energy consultancy with over 17 years' experience in providing advice on energy and sustainable technologies to enterprises, both public and private, within a wide area of London. Originally one of the network of UK government funded Energy Saving Trust Advice Centres set up in 1993, we have substantial experience in all aspects of energy efficiency and environmental issues and over these years have helped more than 200 enterprises of all types save money on their fuel bills.
We have also assisted over 200,000 residents in improving energy efficiency in their homes.

Our Vision
London Energy Efficiency Ltd believe that the City of London should become a global benchmark for energy efficiency and green living. To move London towards becoming the greenest city in the world, energy efficiency services need to broaden from the domestic aspect to the business aspect in order to achieve a low carbon economy.
At London Energy Efficiency Ltd we are committed to assisting government make real progress in its low-carbon economy objectives, and drive London towards the longer term goal of reducing carbon dioxide emissions by some 60 per cent by 2050.
History
1993: Thames & Central Energy Efficiency Advice Centre (Greenwich Energy Efficiency Advice Centre) initiated by the UK Government in October 1993 to provide free and impartial advice on energy efficiency to residents and businesses, under the direction of Pari Barbour – CEO of London Energy Efficiency Ltd
1995 (– 2007): London Borough projects associated with thermography studies and the Home Energy Conservation Act
1996: Pari Barbour receives 1996 HECA Award from the Energy Minister
2006: London Energy Efficiency Ltd launched
2007: ERDF-Funded projects to promote renewable energy and reduce energy costs
2009: Nominated for the Sustainable Energy Europe Award 2009
2010: LEEL secures £3m of funding for a local authority in London through the Social Housing Energy Saving Programme (SHESP)
